Koe partners have many years of experience in EV charging, dairy support and management, dairy digester project design, construction, and operation. The Koe Energy team customizes project design and works efficiently for the best outcome for each dairy. We partner with expert covered lagoon and dedicated digester designers, gas cleaning system vendors, generator set vendors, investors, operators, carbon credit consultants, permitting specialists, geotech/surveying, and an array of other specialists to bring your project to fruition.
Financing
- By Koe – no dairy contribution required other than manure supply agreement and easement
- Koe allows up to 10% dairy equity participation in the project
- Dairy receives annual payment per milking cow and optional profit share
Steps toward dairy digester project
- Initial Reconnaissance of digester project opportunity and feasibility. Confidential sharing of information between Koe and the dairy without obligation to move forward with a project.
- Contingent Commitment
Koe Energy conducts an in-depth analysis with dairy to determine economic and technical feasibility. Temporary exclusivity is required during this step as Koe dedicates resources to the project. - Closing and Notice To Proceed
Koe Energy and the dairy forge a project partnership by executing project documents. Koe Energy funds the project, begins final design, secures permits, and provides notice to proceed to construction partners.
